Kelsey organizes a MRS symposium on Solid-State Batteries
We recently had the pleasure of attending the Materials Research Society (MRS) meeting, one of the premier international forums for cutting-edge materials research. A particular highlight of this year’s meeting was our opportunity to organize and host a dedicated symposium on solid-state battery technologies, bringing together experts from academia and government research to discuss advances, challenges, and future directions in this rapidly evolving field.
The symposium featured an outstanding lineup of speakers and organizers, including Julia Yang (Georgia Institute of Technology), Xin Xu (Arizona State University), and our esteemed colleague at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Yi Lin. Together, we curated a program that highlighted fundamental materials insights, novel characterization approaches, and emerging design strategies for next-generation solid-state batteries.
